I am an Assistant Professor at the Shanghai International College of Intellectual Property, Tongji University. I received my Ph.D. in Innovation Management from the Department of Technology Management for Innovation (TMI), The University of Tokyo, under the supervision of Prof. Kazuyuki Motohashi. My research examines the full cycle of innovation, from research collaboration and knowledge creation to patenting and commercialization.

My work applies Natural Language Processing (NLP) and large language models (LLMs) to large-scale text data (e.g., patents and web content) to measure technological novelty, knowledge diffusion, and economic value. I also study economic geography—especially knowledge spillovers and regional innovation ecosystems—using spatial analysis tools (e.g., ArcGIS).
